Template Generator for a Methodology Independent Object Oriented CASE Tool

  • Conference paper
OOIS’ 95

Abstract

A language which facilitates abstract definitions of graphical notations and the human-computer interaction with them has been developed. It supports a methodology independent Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tool for the construction of Object Oriented Information Systems. It can be applied to any methodology which employs graphical notations. A template generator has been developed which generates methodology notation descriptions in this language. The tool uses a visual programming approach to allow graphical notations to be described.
