Using Z in Communications Engineering ( Invited Talk )

Abstract

A team at BT Labs has been using Z to tackle problems in telecommunications engineering for the last 3 years. We have increasingly found Z to be more satisfactory for use in some application areas than already standardised formal description techniques.
