Definition
The Biometric Implementation Code of Practice and Profiles provide high-level descriptions of the biometric elements of recognition systems. They outline and articulate the implications on the rest of the recognition system of the biometric elements and profile the challenges and issues of using biometrics. They provide a balanced set of recommendations to ensure that the benefits of using biometrics are maximized in any particular application.
