Abstract

With the extending popularization and promotion of information technology, the secret sharing scheme applied to the digital watermark domain is becoming increasingly important. In fact, secret sharing is a very useful cryptographic technique, which divides and stores secret information according to certain rules. This algorithm combines with digital watermarking to protect the copyright of the image processing system with higher efficiency, higher reliability and better security. Meanwhile, during this paper, a synthetic scheme will be researched and discussed. One is the PCA algorithm, as a data processing technique, it can reduce the dimensionality of the original complex data. In this process, feature coefficients, the most representative features of the original carrier images that were selected randomly, and extracted from them by means of PCA transform. Then, for the sake of improving capacity of resisting distortion and disturbance, applying spread spectrum to digital watermarking, it can guarantee the overall system stability and robustness. The watermark image embedded in the main component coefficients of the carrier image is generated by the secret sharing preprocessing of original image. Finally, we can summarize the overall performance of the digital watermarking system and compare the similarity between the recovered image and the original image by observing the values of NC and PSNR that were from all kinds of experiment.
