Abstract

Large digital libraries often require designing a multilingual digital platform for their users. The multilingual access to materials still presents substantial challenges to the digital library designers. Taking the example of the Qatar Digital Library (QDL), we explore some of the tools for bilingual access and reflect on further ways of creating bilingual metadata records for QDL.
