Abstract
This paper briefly describes the concept and development history of iris recognition. Because of its high stability, high accuracy and uniqueness, iris recognition has been studied by many institutions and enterprises at home and abroad, and has been widely used. Especially in the field of social public safety, iris recognition as a precise biometric identification tool has a good application prospect in public security such as verification, pursuit, customs clearance, etc.
