Abstract
This paper describes a framework for IoT systems that use blockchain technology and smart contracts. Such systems ensure the storage of information in a decentralized and secure database and can perform transactions between nodes automatically. The architecture of the system is like a LoRaWAN architecture in which the gateway nodes form a blockchain subsystem that runs command scripts for data filtering. The paper focuses on implementing gateways using a powerful microcontroller ADuCRF101 (with integrated ARM Cortex M3 and RF Transceiver) and evaluating performance as computing time and energy consumption.
