Abstract

This paper addresses the ASSRI-2018 Service Innovation Challenge case study relatine to inovation in the airline industry (available at: http://servicesciencesociety.org.au/downloads/ch.pdf). This paper offers a set of compelling examples motivating the need for on-the-fly generation of process instance variants. It then outlines a general approach that leverages some of our prior work on annotating process designs with expected post-conditions after every task [4] to position the variant generation problem as one of automated planning and intelligent search.
