Abstract

The problem of non-conforming production has been identified in the dry-cleaning area of a company dedicated to the manufacture of fabrics. The alignment of concepts of Business Process Management (BPM) and total quality control (TQM) is applied in order to reduce the problem of non-fulfillment of orders by eliminating activities that do not generate value. The implemented is simulated, using Bizagi, macros and minitab. A higher score was achieved in the 5S audit at the end of the implementation, reduction of times and failures, both in the measurement for the supply and in the occurrence of machine failures due to the lack of preventive maintenance.
