Abstract
As the successor of China’s socialist modernization construction, college students’ spiritual outlook is directly related to the success or failure of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics. As the traditional spirit of the Chinese nation, patriotism has become a long-term subject of ideological and political (IP) education in colleges and universities. The in-depth study of patriotism education in the new media environment has important theoretical significance and reality for improving the effectiveness of patriotism education. significance. The research purpose of this article is to study the patriotism education of higher vocational college students from the perspective of new media. This paper starts with a review of the research results in this field in recent years through the methods of literature research, case analysis and multidisciplinary research. A questionnaire survey was used to study the views of contemporary college students on patriotic education. This study finds that vocational colleges are very interested in patriotism education. The recovery rate of the questionnaires is as high as 93%, and the efficiency is as high as 96.4%. It also provides a lot of reference opinions, of which 75% think that they should borrow the media played an exemplary role. This is of great significance to our education on patriotism.
