Abstract
Participants in projects creating new products and services start discussions by formulating a concept or by posing questions. They should exhibit creativity and propose diverse ideas as much as possible. Supporting the connectivity of information and motivation improvement is important to support the creation. Moreover, participants who feel they are meaningfully contributing to the project are usually more motivated. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an evaluation model that visualizes the degree of contribution of each participant as a contribution value when the project reaches points that require creativity to move forward. Through this model, one’s own ideas and opinions can be visualized as a chronological contribution value throughout the course of discussions. By visualizing the progress of the discussions as a contribution value through determining the system functions, we found that the motivation support function of the participants worked correctly to contribute to the project and to other discussions. In the future, we plan to have the participants actually use this system to demonstrate its effectiveness.
