Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology based on the Internet, which establishes a connection between objects with independent functions. The application of the IoT technology in the field of agriculture has received widespread attention from all walks of life. China is a big agricultural country. The IoT technology can improve the level of modernization and intelligence of agricultural production, which is conducive to the development of agricultural production towards precision, greenness and high-end. This article introduces the specific content of the IoT technology, analyzes the specific application form of the IoT technology in agriculture, and explains the economic and social benefits of the IoT technology applied to agriculture.
