Abstract

Human movement analysis is the assessment of users’ body or segments of the body, their movements and position in space, and can be used to identify patterns or variations for an individual or group of people. This short paper present ten studies selected to the Special Thematic Section on human movement analysis and their contribution to the design and evaluation of interactive systems or assistive devices, aiming at fostering digital inclusion, autonomy and quality of life for people with disabilities.
