Abstract

This paper presents a HEVC video steganography algorithm based on QDCT coefficient without intra-frame distortion drift. We embed the secret message into the multi-coefficients of the selected 8 × 8 luminance QDCT blocks which meet our conditions to avert the distortion drift. With the use of three multi-coefficients in each row or column of the 8 × 8 luminance QDCT block, the embedded capacity is considerably larger than using single multi-coefficients. The experimental results show that this video steganography algorithm can effectively avert intra-frame distortion drift and get good visual quality.
