Abstract

This paper presents a minimalistic design for an interactive data visualization platform to present statistical information on COVID-19, through informing, designing and prototyping, and evaluation based on user experience (UX) and usability guidelines. This paper aims to present the creative process involved in designing a digital platform for statistical information, with the user in mind, which offers a comprehensive and simple experience. As a result, the platform got positive reviews from the participants involved and is proven to be easier to navigate than other contemporary sources on COVID-19.
