Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) technology has revolutionized the improvement of services provided to many sectors. The implementation of IoT in these sectors is a fertile field for researchers nowadays. This paper aims to propose a smart IoT-based model for the office. It helps to provide an effective work environment by focusing on three aspects. The first aspect is controlling all devices in the office remotely with a smartphone. The second and third aspects are increased security and safety. This model is simulated with Cisco Packet Tracer, which includes many different IoT features and functions. The simulation showed that implementing smart offices will provide an efficient work environment.
