Abstract

With the intensification of air pollution, the probability of children suffering from respiratory diseases has greatly increased. More and more people are performing nebulization therapy at home. The purpose of this article is to understand the perceptual needs of parents when choosing household nebulizers for preschool children, so that children can complete the treatment more comfortably. The Kano model is used to analyze the functional requirements of non-autonomous children’s parents for children’s household nebulizers, and obtain the priority of requirements, then establish the appearance semantic space based on Kansei engineering, and use factor analysis to obtain the appearance perceptual needs. Finally, a reference design of functional and appearance is proposed for the design of children’s household nebulizers. This article combines the Kano model with Kansei engineering to obtain the functional requirements and appearance requirements of parents for children’s household nebulizers, and verify them through design practice. It can provide reference for the design of children’s household nebulizers in the future.
