Abstract

Chinese folk New Year pictures have diverse themes, rich content and bright colors, and are deeply loved by people. Chinese folk New Year pictures use contrast methods such as light and shade, cold and warm, and the pictures are vivid and painted in primary colors. The content revolves around praying for blessings and warding off evil spirits, expressing people’s emotions and wishes. Liang Pingming’s New Year paintings have extremely high aesthetic and artistic value, and are of great significance to the study of local customs and lifestyles in Liangping. This article introduces the characteristics of Chinese New Year pictures and Liang Ping New Year pictures, and then introduces the application of computer information technology in the design of New Year pictures.
