Abstract

As an important water conservancy project, reservoir plays a positive role in flood interception, water supply guarantee and water resources allocation, and also provides a significant help for social and economic development and ecological civilization construction. Reservoir water storage is one of the important indicators for the healthy operation of the reservoir, which is closely related to the regional climate, humidity and precipitation. It is necessary to study the reservoir storage capacity for the rational protection and utilization of water resources and the formulation of relevant policies. With the development and maturity of data mining technology and the successful application in all walks of life, the advantages of this technology in discovering hidden rules or patterns in data are incomparable with other technologies. This paper collects and reviews a large number of relevant literature, discusses how to apply data mining technology and data analysis of reservoir storage problem.
