Abstract

With the rapid development of the automobile industry, the security of vehicle communication networks and the authenticity of messages have been widely extensive attention. In recent years, a lot of works have shown that the reputation system can effectively solve the above problems. This paper combines the update of vehicle’s reputation value with pseudonym change, which increases the credibility of messages within VANETs while achieving location privacy. In addition, this paper proposes a rating system to verify the accuracy of the latest vehicle informations based on blockchain technology. Two kinds of blockchains are proposed. Through theoretical analysis and simulation, our solution can more accurately verify the accuracy of the latest vehicle informations and build a safer vehicle communication network.
