Abstract

While the Internet provides convenience to people, security issues for data still exist. Images require huge storage space and cloud computing can help users to solve this problem, but the data on the cloud may be leaked. This paper proposes an image data processing scheme based on the Paillier encryption algorithm. To ensure the security of image, we use the Paillier algorithm to process the image data before uploading it to the cloud platform. Then, the cloud server applies the SIFT algorithm to extract and save the image features. A scheme for checking similarity is also proposed to ensure the security of the image in the cloud. We also discuss its application in outsourced image processing.
