Abstract
Slipform paver is an important road construction machinery in China, which save cost of labor and enhance the efficiency of work. However, the appearance of existed products are homogeneous, so enterprises need to find their own product identity to establish a stable and reliable impression on people’s minds. This paper presents a method for product identity design based on Kansei engineering and ergonomics. Considering of the comfort of operation, the guarantee of the efficiency, the design of slipform paver need to focus on the physiological and psychological characteristics of people.
