Abstract

Among the four elements of healthy physical fitness, flexibility is often overlooked. In fact, good flexibility is an essential element to guarantee smooth movement and life without injury, especially for the elderly, good flexibility is a prerequisite to guarantee functional activities, which directly affects the quality of life in later life. However, the current methods of flexibility-related measurements have problems such as insufficient accuracy and complicated measurement tools. This study takes upper limb flexibility measurement as the starting point, focusing on the objective measurement and recording of upper limb flexibility, so as to predict the physical condition through the changes of one’s own body flexibility and make timely improvement.
