Abstract

Some studies have proved that visual tools in service design, as boundary objects, can promote interdisciplinary collaboration. However, how these visualization tools and methods enable interdisciplinary collaboration needs to be further explored. This paper proposes a Contextual Knowledge Sharing Model, which further explains the role of service design in helping multidisciplinary collaboration. This paper describes the relationship between service design and contextual knowledge and their mechanism based on service characteristics and the perspective of promoting the circulation of contextual knowledge.
