Abstract

This paper presents a method for hiding information in digital images RGB based on different data representation mechanisms through base 64 coding. In combination with a particular coding redistribution based on fractal dimension, using 6-bit Unicode Transformation Format (UTF-6) representation, and lossless compression using Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW). It proposes combining the modification of the least significant bit of the pixels in combination with the Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) to provide extensive data protection. An empirical assessment shows a competitive performance when compared to state-of-the-art methods, highlighting the successful embedding images as hidden messages in the stego-images.
