Abstract

The Paper explains first the difference between the standards ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety). New and adopted procedures and methods are explained to reduce the residual risk for SOTIF in combination with Functional Safety. The paper encompasses the development cycle of ADAS and autonomous driving system from the beginning and conclude with the verification and validation.
