Abstract

In modern Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) visualizing measurement data is still a challenge. Intuitive approaches are rare, and the big data collected by more and more sensors in the Internet of Things (IoT) demands new concepts. We present in this paper an OpenXR application in a dollhouse style for off-site application. Further it allows to visualize on-site the data of specific sensors by scanning a QR-code. We use time-series based databases to enable fast queries and therefore a seamless integration within the application. Time-series based interactive diagrams integrated into geometrical holograms of buildings or parts of buildings (like floors), allows intuitive working also in multi-user scenarios by applying cloud anchors. The geometrical models are retrieved by applying BIM.
