Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) proposed the concept of “smart medical care”. More and more middle-aged and elderly people use smart products. Under the shortage of the resources for medical care, if middle-aged and elderly people can maintain their physical health with excellent functions through the activities of self-health management, they can reduce the demands for medical care. This study focused on this for the discussion to explore the effectiveness of chatbots for middle-aged and elderly people’s absorbing health knowledge via human-computer interaction, so as to facilitate the subsequent development and establishment of innovative service types and service experiences. From the results of the pre-test and post-test questionnaires, we can understand whether the use of chatbot for a week by the middle-aged and elderly people can help improve their health knowledge.
