Abstract

The article depicts the problem of automated text segmentation into syntagmas at the punctuational and the semantic levels of Belarusian. It is aimed at generating prosodic transcription and delimiting long sentences. Its implementation is essential for improving the synthetic speech generated by Belarusian text-to-speech systems using prepared syntactic grammars in NooJ.
