Abstract
During the last decades, information technologies have been defining the development of modern society. Distance learning, multimedia, online lessons, educational websites, and so on are used in almost all spheres of social and educational activities. However, these aspects are of particular importance in engineering and pedagogical education, since engineering educators are called cadre personnel, whose purpose is to train qualified workers in the system of vocational education. Professional training of competitively qualified workers significantly depends on the professional competence of engineering and pedagogical personnel, as well as on the implementation of information technologies in the educational process. Fluency in Internet technologies, communication and interaction skills in the virtual environment become almost mandatory requirements for training future engineering educators. Thus, information technologies should be selected and applied in a coordinated manner in the process of carrying out various activities, between which recursive connections can be established.
