Abstract

This article presents methods underlying the accomplishment of the new topographic database [DBT] of the Municipality of Genoa.

This final product presents innovative aspects both for adopted methodologies and outputs, and therefore consists of a significant application of cartographic data model specifications in force at national level.

Here are also introduced some prototype studies based on DBT, still under development.
