Abstract

The main objective of this project was to create by on side a CAD model of the manufacturing cell HAS-200, with great precision in relation to the actual dimensions, and for other hand the possibility of performing virtual simulation routines in order to design process improvements.

The project was carried out in three phases, first the search for the technical information of systems and components and the appropriate integration of the sources. The second phase involved the graphic modeling of each of the cell stations components and the general assembly of the manufacturing cell suitable for analysis of motions and simulations. Finally the simulation of station 1 operation was developed based on its tasks, times and sequences.
