Abstract
Urbanization and industrialization are responsible for pollution of streams, dilapidation of grounds and weakened air property in environment. Quality indicators are used towards estimate of the conditions of these media. The proposed work is working on assessment of the water quality index (WQI) for the groundwater of Jafrabad taluka, Dist Jalna. Jafrabad taluka is surrounded by Purna River. At Takarkheda Bhagile village,Tq. Deogaoraja, Dist.Buldhana, Khadakpurna dam is sited over Purna River and backwater of this dam up-to 30 km from the dam location which cover south-east location of Jafrabad taluka. Agriculture Water, Drinking Water, Industry Water, Daily Need Water is supplied from this backwater. Green algae are major problem of this backwater. In agriculture field, used of fertilizer and pesticide is more so this source is affected. Public releases of household sewage, in-appropriate waste structure, public excretion, septic tanks, soak pits, contaminated water pools and unorganized solid waste dumping are sources of city water contamination. The practical approach of this study is to assess the influence of anthropogenic movements on groundwater quality. To identify the groundwater probable geographical zone for drinking water construction using GIS is one role of this study. Collection of groundwater samples and subjecting the samples to a comprehensive physicochemical analysis is stage of this research. The extreme cost of WQI has been discovered to be primarily from the higher values of iron, nitrate, total dissolved solids, hardness, fluorides, bicarbonate and manganese in the groundwater. The results of investigations have been worked to indicate prototypes for expecting water quality. Fuzzy expert scheme becomes feasible to merge certitude points for appropriateness of water based on an authorized factor. Fuzzy logic gives an effective and beneficial mechanism for sorting intake water excellence built on inadequate studies.
