Part of the book series: Studies in Systems, Decision and Control ((SSDC,volume 423))

Abstract

Aero engines and hydraulic servo valves are high-precision and complex aerospace products. During the assembly process, the virtual space and the physical space lack deep real-time interaction capabilities. This has led to a low level of real-time visual monitoring of workshop operation and maintenance, equipment operation status, and product assembly status in the aerospace product assembly workshop. To this end, this chapter proposes a multi-scale online monitoring method for product assembly workshops based on digital twins. First, this chapter establishes a digital twin model that includes assembly equipment, product and assembly process. Secondly, based on the established digital twin model, real-time data is used as the driving source to realize multi-scale visual monitoring. Finally, a hydraulic servo valve assembly workshop is taken as an example to verify the practicability of the method.
