Abstract
The use of ROS/ROS2 in real life is becoming more and more popular. One of the ROS2 extensions is micro-ROS. Smart warehouse is a use case that aims to demonstrate how micro-ROS can be used in a low power wireless network environment. In the described case, the mobile base platform moves around a laboratory simulating a warehouse performing scheduled tasks. It shows how, thanks to micro-ROS, it is possible to easily connect basic elements such as sensors and actuators, which are based on microcontrollers, to a large system based on ROS/ROS2.
