Abstract
Weight management is a critical way to maintain a healthy posture. At present, doing exercise, eating functional food and taking medicines are popular ways of weight management, which is mainly conducted spontaneously or under the supervision of others. However, with high cost and poor persistence, these two forms also fail to take psychological factors into full consideration, showing great limitations in general. Therefore, the research philosophy of this study lies in “behavioral supervision and psychological guidance”. This study introduced persuasion theory to discuss the application of persuasion theory in weight management applications (apps). In addition, this study put forward an application model of persuasion theory in weight management apps, and verified the satisfaction degree of weight management apps based on this model. The purposes of this study are to: 1) Promote the multi-directional flexible development of weight management apps’ design at both academic and practical levels; 2) Establish a more usable design model for the design of weight management apps through the research and exploration of this study, so as to improve the effect of weight management and provide reference for the weight management practice.
