Abstract
The cabin of a civil aircraft is the main place for passenger activities, an important place and interface for interaction between passengers and the aircraft, and the user experience center for aircraft products. In the early days, the cabin design of civil aircraft was centered on ensuring the safety of personnel and economy, maximized the use of cabin space to accommodate more passengers. For example, some airlines introduced high-density economy class. With the rise of human factors subject, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands etc. have established full-aircraft climate laboratories to study the effects of cabin environment on human comfort. Major aircraft manufacturers and cabin interior suppliers have also made significant progress in optimizing cabin design. In the design of the new aircraft, more comfortable and natural cabin interaction is promoted, and wider seats, lower cabin pressure and more humid air are provided for passengers. Compared to the old-fashioned aircraft still in operation, passengers’ evaluation and demand for the comfort of the new aircraft are significantly improved. With the geometric growth of the civil aviation transportation industry and the continuous upgrading of interactive technology, passengers have also put forward more stringent requirements on the cabin. While continuing to improve cabin comfort, as the link between the airport and the airport, the flight services provided by airlines to passengers will also become the most important part of the entire flight experience. Based on passengers’ demand for flight experience, this paper analyzes cabin evaluation indicators centered on passenger flight experience from the dimensions of passenger flight, aircraft manufacturer’s design, and airline operation, construct a comprehensive cabin evaluation system based on cabin space, cabin environment, human-computer interaction, cabin service and other aspects, to optimize cabin design and improve passenger travel comfort.
