Abstract

As an extension of smart TV and smart speaker, smart-screen is an innovative product that can realize human-computer multi-sensory interaction more naturally in the smart era. The exploration and development of this new product is an important way for companies to continuously seek competitive advantages. They are required to tap the user's sensory experience and perceptual needs. This article uses smart-screen as an example to explore the feasibility and implementation methods of Kansei Engineering in the development and design of new products. Based on the literature review, a theoretical framework is built for the action mechanism of Kansei Engineering in new product development and design, and then verified and evaluated through experimental design and design practice. Firstly, the perceptual vocabulary and design elements were determined through the questionnaire survey method, and the perceptual image vocabulary was obtained based on the analysis of the semantic difference method. KJ analysis method and factor analysis method are used to carry out Kansei analysis on smart-screen, and the relationship between perceptual characteristics and smart-screen human-computer interaction design elements is obtained. On this basis, the smart screen was developed and designed, which can meet people's perceptual needs. Finally, the evaluation and feedback were conducted through questionnaires and expert methods. According to the evaluation results, the effects of audiovisual devices are good, with high user satisfaction and emotional feedback. Kansei Engineering captures the user's feelings about the product and uses it to define the design features of the product, meeting the expectations of users to a greater extent, which also have certain reference significance for other types of new products.
