Abstract
In this paper we will introduce the approach the ALBATTS Blueprint Project partners took in curriculum preparation for battery value chain skills needs. We developed a methodology that meets the challenges of curriculum preparation, considering the latest intelligence on requirement specifications, concerning new work roles, their competences, knowledge, and skills needed. It enables us to analyze the curricula, define the learning objectives, validate options, and create courses/modules for EQF level 3 to EQF level 8. Our work was structured in a form of a graph of eight interconnected tasks/nodes within the work package. With the goals of setting-up the team, team alignment, promoting discussion on the methodological approach, and defining a draft action plan for course development we organized two workshops. In conclusion we describe the current level of the progress in the Curriculum Preparation phase and set the plans for the future developments. These will mainly focus on developing Open Educational Resources, preparing several showcases and actual pilot courses, and contributing to the actual blueprint on education and training for the battery and electromobility value chain sector.
