Abstract
Young people, in particular, use social media to express their thoughts and feelings. Young people make up 29.2 percent of social media users in Indonesia. Suicide is common among young people, according to an Infodatin Ministry of Health report, and it is typically communicated through social media. According to the Central Statistics Agency, there have been 5,787 suicides, with social media accounting for 40%. The qualitative content analysis method is used in this study. The education offered by the @IntoTheLightID account, according to content analysis, includes information on suicide prevention, mental health information, and mental health campaign information. Researchers divided the roles of Twitter accounts into two categories: first, offering information on avoiding suicide in themselves and others. Second, as part of suicide prevention and mental health campaigns, offering information about seminars. The community (SP-CARE) emphasizes education with the primary purpose of raising public awareness about suicide prevention. The hashtags #suicidepreventionday, #preventsuicide, #mentalhealth, and #cooperationforthesoul have been used to regularly update education about suicide prevention and mental health on the Twitter account @IntoTheLightID. Twitter users can access information quickly. People's conduct can be changed by using social media, such as hashtags on Twitter, to provide an active response to a situation.
