Abstract

Cryptocurrencies have been in the spotlight for the past few years. The centralization of the management of fiat currencies by banks led to their emergence with Bitcoin in 2008 as a way to present truly democratic money to the world. With the increase in the flow of capital to this market, new challenges and problems have arisen that governments must deal with. In this paper, a study of the legal frameworks that are being implemented throughout the world with the intention of regulating the cryptocurrency market is carried out. This study aims to understand the different points of view and interests that each country has when implementing each type of framework.
