Research Outputs of Vietnam National University, Hanoi: A Bibliometric Analysis on Scopus and Web of Science During 2018–2021

Abstract

The present study is a bibliometric assessment of scientific research output of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) during the 2018 to 2021 on the Scopus and Web of Science database. Research output on Scopus 2018 to 2021 ~3,500 document records and Web of Science ~3,400 document records. The authors have made statistical reports, analyzed and assessed the quantity (use Mendeley check and removal duplicate records) and quality (Q1234 by SJR- Scimago Journal & Country Rank), type of publication, keywords/subjects, collaborations in research, citation numbers and the authors with many published publications, most source title, etc. The result reveals the leaders, managers and scientists VNU’s would have the general outline of their institutions’ scientific research situation in the previous periods to make the proper decisions for future.
