Distributed Hotel Chain Using Blockchain and Chainlink

Abstract

Hospitality industry is very important in our society. This industry can be secured with blockchain technology. The main goal of this chapter is to examine the current blockchain-based hotel chain systems as well as any potential obstacles, with the aim of betterment of hotel chain systems for the future. It also presents a smart contract for the hotel chain distributed application. The research chapter will concentrate on the significance of hotel booking platforms (and hospitality), as these are the two main strategies used by the hotel sector to demonstrate their consideration for and goodwill toward the guest. An explanation of the fundamental components and functions of the blockchain with respect to the hotel reservation system follows. According to this study, hotel management systems enabled by blockchain and chain links might offer different options than conventional hotel reservation systems. The five following categories were used to group the major problems: general, integrity, price-parity agreements, privacy, and a lack of payment options. This study revealed that some issues that are prevalent in the present hotel management systems can be resolved by blockchain technologies. On the other side, the issues with blockchain applications that are commonly highlighted are privacy protection and transaction speed.
