Abstract
The article studies the effectiveness of an online program to educate self-control in students studying drama at “Dinu Lipatti” Art College in Bucharest . The research presents the stages of the study and the platform of techniques and exercises that is managed by artificial intelligence networks. The target group was formed by 90 students aged between 14 and 17, who attend drama courses as a vocational training at the forementioned institution. The first step was to identify the possible differences between the level of self-control of teens studying drama comparing to their peers who attend courses at the informatics profile from two high schools in Bucharest. In this regard the teenagers applied Barratt impulsivity questionnaire. The results were statistically interpreted using the social statistics program and eventually analysed from psychological perspective. Consequently, the target group ran the tasks from the online platform for three months and at the end of the program they applied the Barratt again. The scores were compared statistically to the initial results and then interpreted. The outcomes validated the high efficiency of the program assisted by artificial intelligence. This represents an opportunity to diversify the themes existing on the platform, considering the needs of teenagers who study at any profile in Romania.
