Culture and Computing (HCII 2023)

Abstract

Human-computer interaction (HCI) research focuses on the interactions between humans and computers in designing and using computer technology and making computers more user-friendly for humans. Every aspect of HCI is taken into account, including the user’s perspective and how they interact with the world and technology in general. However, computers’ interactions with children need slightly more attention and an innovative approach. This research focuses on intelligent UI/UX design approaches (considering kids’ psychology) for software and web apps that can effectively improve human-computer interaction for children. The study will provide an overview of the children’s expectations and needs as they interact with computers and the various approaches to improving the user interface and experience.
