Abstract

The World Important Agricultural Heritage Sites are essential cultural treasures that contain the wisdom of ancient human survival and potential solutions to promote a balance between human development and environmental protection. However, these heritage sites are under the impact of modern development. Their influence and importance are gradually forgotten by people, which will be detrimental to the sustainable development and transmission of agricultural cultural heritage sites. After the metaverse concept exploded, it provides new ideas for heritage site conservation. As such, the aim of this paper is to bring users a new look and experience about the heritage site through the new form of 3D modeling and game interaction, so that users can learn and understand the charm of the heritage site in a good experience. The method is to use the Roblox platform to design an experience game taking the floating garden agricultural cultural heritage site as an example. It fully demonstrates the potential of the floating garden agricultural practices in Bangladesh in coping with flood disasters. The results show that it will draw more attention to the current situation of the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) and ultimately promote their sustainable development.
