Abstract

It is proposed in this study that an approach of color application strategy based on the user kansei images can help convey the cultural connotation of cultural products. A Continuous Fuzzy Kano Model is used to study which factor is more important among the main factors affecting user evaluation. The study shows that the color factor has a more significant impact, and the color of cultural products is determined as the primary research object. The K-means clustering algorithm extracts the representative colors of Taohuawu New Year Woodblock Prints. Then, we studied consumers’ kansei evaluation of different colors by semantic differential method, and the experimental results were used for design. The user-centered color design strategy of cultural products is expanded and applied to the design of cultural products. Through the analysis of user satisfaction and perception, it is proved that a color application scheme has high user satisfaction, which can meet the needs of user visual satisfaction and cultural connotation transmission.
