Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the user perception of the display of major cultural elements in urban subway public spaces, and to provide design reference for improving the cultural expression of subway space design. Through a user questionnaire survey, this study conducted a relatively detailed exploration of the cultural needs of subway public space users and the expression status of regional culture, using the method of questionnaire survey to obtain and analyze data. The results show that there are some problems in the public space of urban maps, such as insufficient coordination of display regional cultural space, monotonous architectural space, single regional cultural communication function, and less design of cultural interactive devices. Propose plans such as interactive forms of new media, innovative regional cultural concepts, enriching spatial interface color design, and highlighting sculpture sketch design, to provide reference for the design of regional cultural expression in urban subway public spaces.
