My talk today is going to be about trusted introductions for secure messaging, work by me and Adrian from ETH Zurich at the Network Security Group.

Throughout the discussion it became clear that there was confusion between the model which applies to the trusted introductions and PGP, and that this distinction had to be made more thoroughly. More emphasis was placed on the different models in the paper as a result of this.

While simply forgetting the introducer information for this introduction would keep the verification state of the introducee intact.
