Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, the influence of “integrating media” on college students is both a challenge and an opportunity. As one of the important compulsory courses for college students, ideological and political theory courses need to be constantly updated with the new teaching methods. VR technology is a new application technology with unique advantages, therefore, integrating VR technology into the classroom of college students can effectively narrow the distance with college students, so that the teaching content can be implanted in the hearts of students. The embedding of VR virtual simulation technology in the education and teaching of ideological and political courses has effectively enhanced the identity of contemporary college students to the country and enhanced their learning of theoretical cognition.
